Extraco Banks® Begins Construction on New Downtown Temple Branch

Extraco Banks® announced on June 23, 2023, it will begin construction on its new Downtown Temple branch on July 10, 2023. The 2,400 square foot branch will have video teller technology, four drive through lanes and an outdoor seating area between the new bank building and Treno Pizzeria.

Black Knight, Inc. (NYSE:BKI) announced today that Extraco Banks, the largest and most comprehensive locally owned bank between Dallas and Austin, Texas, has signed a contract to implement the Empower loan origination system (LOS). The company selected Empower for its exceptional digital mortgage capabilities, and will also use Black Knight’s Surefire CRM and mortgage marketing engine to elevate the customer experience and to help create customers for life.

Extraco Banks® to Sell Downtown Temple Financial Center and Build New Branch

On June 30, 2022, Extraco Banks® closed on the sale of its downtown Temple financial center to Austin investors, Redeem Investments, who plans to renovate the 10-story building that makes up part of the iconic Temple skyline. Extraco will build a new financial center across the street where its current motor bank is located today.

I'm admitted to practice law in federal courts in the Western District of Texas. Outside of work, I'm committed to community service, volunteering for Lake Air Little League, contributing to the HOT Workforce Development Board, and previously serving as president of the Hedonia Club of Waco. Waco isn't just where I work—it's home. Living here with my wife, Jill, and our children, Tripp and Jackie, we're active members of the First United Methodist Church, cherishing our community ties.

Robert Jones

My name is Robert Jones, and I bring 36 years of leadership experience in Central Texas banking to Extraco. I have been deeply engaged in the local community, serving as a volunteer and in key board positions with nonprofit organizations, city and county governments, and local school districts, which has allowed me to build meaningful relationships. I hold a bachelor’s degree from Abilene Christian University and a master’s degree from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor. My wife, Susan, and I are active members of Westside Church of Christ in Round Rock, where I serve as an elder. We have three grown and married children, along with seven wonderful grandchildren. Currently, I hold leadership positions with Junior Achievement of the Brazos Valley, the Boys and Girls Clubs of the Brazos Valley, and actively contribute to several other civic and charitable organizations.

My name is Nathan Harrell, and I hold a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Financial Management and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Abilene Christian University. I'm Ken Krueger, a native of Houston, Texas. I earned my BBA in Finance from Texas A&M University and completed the Southwestern Graduate School of Banking at Southern Methodist University. With over 35 years of banking experience in Commercial, Consumer, and Small Business sectors, I bring a wealth of expertise to Extraco Banks. Active in the Bryan/College Station area, I serve on the board of directors for the Brazos Valley Food Bank and participate in community initiatives through my involvement with my church, Rotary Club, and the Chamber of Commerce. I am eager to make a positive impact on the Brazos Valley community for years to come.

Tom Creek

I'm Tom Creek, a commercial banker with nearly three decades of experience. I hold a bachelor's degree from West Texas A&M University and a degree from Southwestern Graduate School of Banking. Residing in Gatesville, Texas I am passionate about community growth, I actively participate in organizations like the Salvation Army, Lions Club, Gideons, Central Texas Hospitality House, Meals on Wheels, and church activities.

I'm Thomas Sinkey a graduate of Park University with a BS in Management, and Tarleton State University with a Masters of Business Administration. I served in the United States Army as a Military Police Officer for over 20 years. Now, I've been with Extraco Banks for nearly 19 years and have seen serving business owners throughout Central Texas area the entire time. Currently, I serve as the President of the Temple Rotary Club, Secretary of the Temple Rotary Club Foundation, board member of the Temple Education Foundation, the Temple Police Advisory Commission, the Killeen Police Department Law Enforcement Assistance Fund. Beyond my professional and services commitments, I am also an avid golfer and a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. In my free time I enjoy playing in golf tournaments around the area and spending time with my family.

I'm Matthew Bond and I've been with Extraco since 2009, accumulating nearly two decades of experience in financial services.
