Extraco Banks Announces Leadership Transition in Waco Commercial Lending Division

Extraco Banks proudly announces the retirement of long-time executive Mark Reynolds, Regional President of Commercial Lending for the North Region, after 28 years of dedicated service. As part of a strategic leadership transition, Tammy Richards has been named as his successor, continuing the bank’s strong legacy of relationship-driven commercial banking.
A Legacy of Leadership: Mark Reynolds
Mark Reynolds joined Extraco in 1997 and has played a pivotal role in the bank’s commercial lending growth across North Texas. Over nearly three decades, Mark became known for his deep industry expertise, strategic mindset and genuine commitment to customers and colleagues alike. He led with vision, built trusted relationships and mentored countless banking professionals.
“Mark has been a pillar of our commercial banking division leading our Waco, Bryan College Station, Gatesville and Hamilton banking teams,” Doug Streater, Extraco's President and CEO, said. “His leadership has helped shape Extraco's culture and his influence will continue to guide us for years to come.”
Extraco is proud of Mark's lasting impact and the communities he served.
Mark is looking forward to retirement with his wife, Susan and they look forward to getting even more involved in their children and grandchildren's lives.
Looking Ahead: Tammy Richards Steps into New Role
Stepping into the role of City President of the Waco, Gatesville and Hamilton markets is Tammy Richards, a seasoned banking leader with more than 30 years of experience in financial services in Waco. Since joining Extraco 19 years ago as a Senior Vice President - Commercial Lender, Tammy has demonstrated a deep commitment to customer success and team development. She looks forward to serving in her new role, while continuing to foster meaningful customer relationships and prioritizing exceptional customer service.
"I find fulfillment in understanding my customers’ businesses and being able to draw on my experience to be a resource to help solve problems," Richards said. "I have worked alongside Mark for almost 20 years and look forward to continuing his commitment to the Central Texas area."
Tammy holds a bachelor's degree from Baylor University and is known for fostering meaningful client relationships and prioritizing exceptional customer service. Outside of her professional life, she actively contributes to the community as a board member of the Greater Waco Chamber of Commerce, the Heart of Texas Goodwill Industries and the Greater Waco United Fund Foundation.
