Rex Kothmann

I’m Rex Kothmann, and I’ve spent my life rooted in small-town Texas values. I’m originally from Menard, where I grew up on a 750-acre ranch that has been in my family since 1845. With my father serving as president of our hometown bank while also ranching, I was raised around both banking and agriculture from an early age — experiences that continue to shape how I serve customers today.

I graduated from Tarleton State University in 2002 and later completed the Texas Tech School of Banking. I began my career as a real estate appraiser before transitioning into banking in 2004. My wife, Katrina, and I have lived in Lampasas for more than 20 years, where we’re raising our three children. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time at our ranches and watching our kids compete in athletics.
