About the Waco area

For nearly 70 years, the Heart of Texas (H.O.T.) Fair & Rodeo has attracted locals and out-of-towners to the Extraco Events Center. The livestock show, calf scramble, and bullfight draw some of the largest crowds each October. Extraco Banks sponsors and hosts the annual event. And for HGTV fans, don't forget to stop by Magnolia Market at the Silos throughout the year for shopping, games, and food. Don't leave the area without visiting George's Restaurant. This local bar and restaurant has been around since the 1930s.
