To deliver you the best Apple Pay experience, we will display certain account information on your device, such as data for your recent purchases, for each Card you have selected to use with Apple Pay, but not your full account information. At any time, you can turn off the display of transaction data manually within Apple Pay by adjusting the “Card Notifications” for each Card. We will never share your plastic Card number with Apple. If you have any additional questions about your device’s security features, please contact Apple directly.
Your Extraco Banks Discover Debit Card in Apple Pay is protected by “Touch ID”, "Face ID" and/or your device “Passcode.” For your security, when you make a purchase using Apple Pay, you must either use “Touch ID”, "Face ID" or the “Passcode” for your device. All of your payment information will be encrypted in the Secure Element, a dedicated chip in your device.
The safety and security of your account information are of the highest importance. As a security measure, you may receive a “verification required” message when adding your card to Apple Pay. Once verified, an on-screen message will appear stating that the card is ready for use. This verification is part of our multi-layered approach to security in payments.
Additionally, when we review mobile wallet providers we look for payment safety, quality of service, and ease of use for our customers. When you make payments with Apple Pay and your Extraco Banks card:
• Your full card number is not shown to the merchant or to Apple Pay
• All transactions are monitored by Extraco Fraud Alerts and fraud detection systems
• Purchases made using Apple Pay are protected by Zero Liability, so you won’t be held responsible for promptly reported unauthorized transactions.
Your Extraco Banks Debit Card automatically comes with the built-in security of Extraco Fraud Alerts monitoring and Zero Liability protection. If your card or its number is ever lost or stolen, you’re not responsible for unauthorized transactions when you report them promptly.
• To dispute a Debit Card transaction, call 1-866-EXTRACO (1.866.398.7226).

You will always need to enter your Security Code and accept the Extraco Banks Terms of Use for Apple Pay each time you add a card to Apple Pay. You are also subject to Apple’s own terms & conditions.
If requested, follow additional steps to verify your card. After you confirm your Extraco Banks card has been added to your mobile device, you’re ready to use it in Apple Pay.
For security reasons, we may need you to provide additional verification to add your Extraco Banks card to Apple Pay. If necessary, Wallet will tell you how to verify your card.
Your default card for Apple Pay is the card that is automatically used every time you make a purchase.
Setting your Extraco Banks card as your default is simple, and you only need to do it once. Go to Settings, Wallet & Apple Pay and tap Default Card selection. Choose your Extraco Banks card as your default. Note the first card you add to Apple Pay will automatically be your default card, but you can update it at any time.
To remove your Debit Card on iPhone 6 or later, iPad Air 2 and iPad mini 3 or later, select “Remove Card” in the “Wallet & Apple Pay” section of your device “Settings” or on the back of your Card in the Wallet app.

For your security, when you add your Extraco Banks Discover Debit Card to Apple Pay, a Device Account Number is created for that card on that device. It is separate and unique to your device and different from your plastic card number. Your Device Account Number is used to make purchases with your Debit Card using Apple Pay.
All transactions completed with Apple Pay will appear with “AplPay” on your Extraco Banks billing statement. Transaction information such as merchant name, amount of transaction, date and time all may appear on your Apple Pay transaction history.
If you need to make a return for a purchase made with Apple Pay, you can receive refunds to your account. The key difference is that you may be asked to provide to the cashier the last four digits of your Device Account Number instead of the last few digits of your card number. To find the last four digits of your Device Account Number for your Card, visit the “Wallet & Apple Pay” section of your device “Settings” or on the back of your card in the Wallet app.

You can turn your notifications on or off by adjusting the “Card Notifications” settings for each card within the “Wallet & Apple Pay” section of your device “Settings.” Please keep in mind that by turning off your “Card Notifications,” you will no longer receive transaction notifications or other special messages from Extraco Banks on the front of your card, and you will no longer see your transaction history on the back of your card in Apple Pay.
You will not receive specific “Card Notifications” for cards added to Apple Pay for your Apple Watch. You may receive notifications on your Apple Watch if you have a card added to Apple Pay on your paired iPhone and have push notifications enabled.
If you do not want to receive these notifications on your Apple Watch, visit the notifications section under “General Settings” in the Apple Watch app on your supported device and unselect “Wallet & Apple Pay.”
Extraco Banks has enabled customers to see the last 10 purchases in the “Transaction Display” of their card in Apple Pay on iPhone or iPad.
