Black Knight, Inc. (NYSE:BKI) announced today that Extraco Banks, the largest and most comprehensive locally owned bank between Dallas and Austin, Texas, has signed a contract to implement the Empower loan origination system (LOS). The company selected Empower for its exceptional digital mortgage capabilities, and will also use Black Knight’s Surefire CRM and mortgage marketing engine to elevate the customer experience and to help create customers for life.

On June 30, 2022, Extraco Banks® closed on the sale of its downtown Temple financial center to Austin investors, Redeem Investments, who plans to renovate the 10-story building that makes up part of the iconic Temple skyline. Extraco will build a new financial center across the street where its current motor bank is located today.

Extraco Banks closed on land located at 3414 E. Main Street with the intention of building a new Gatesville branch, slated to open in 2023.
