Extraco Banks Selects Empower, Black Knight's High-Performance LOS, to Drive Growth in Digital Mortgage Operations

Extraco Banks, the largest and most comprehensive locally owned bank between Dallas and Austin, Texas, has signed a contract to implement the Empower loan origination system (LOS). The company selected Empower for its exceptional digital mortgage capabilities, and will also use Black Knight's Surefire CRM and mortgage marketing engine to elevate the customer experience and to help create customers for life.

Black Knight, Inc. (NYSE:BKI) announced today that Extraco Banks, the largest and most comprehensive locally owned bank between Dallas and Austin, Texas, has signed a contract to implement the Empower loan origination system (LOS). With a BBA in Finance, I hold key certifications including Certified Treasury Professional, Six Sigma Green Belt, and Level 1 certification in the Texas Public Funds Investment Act. I'm also a graduate of Leadership Waco and Temple. My active involvement in the Greater Waco Chamber of Commerce includes being named the 2021 Ambassador of the Year, highlighting my dedication to local engagement. Outside of work, I enjoy camping with my family, attending First Baptist Woodway, and playing the piano.

Robert Jones

My name is Robert Jones, and I bring 36 years of leadership experience in Central Texas banking to Extraco. I have been deeply engaged in the local community, serving as a volunteer and in key board positions with nonprofit organizations, city and county governments, and local school districts, which has allowed me to build meaningful relationships. I hold a bachelor’s degree from Abilene Christian University and a master’s degree from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor. My wife, Susan, and I are active members of Westside Church of Christ in Round Rock, where I serve as an elder. We have three grown and married children, along with seven wonderful grandchildren. In my free time, I enjoy woodworking, playing pickleball, traveling and spending time with family.

John Bush

I'm John Bush, a proud graduate of Texas A&M University, and I've been a resident of Bryan/College Station since 1986. With almost three decades of experience in commercial banking, I am deeply engaged in our local community. Currently, I hold leadership positions with Junior Achievement of the Brazos Valley, the Boys and Girls Clubs of the Brazos Valley, and actively contribute to several other civic and charitable organizations.

Beyond work, I'm deeply involved in our community, serving on the boards of the Belton Christian Youth Center and the Salado Chamber of Commerce Economic Development Committee. A Waco native, I was born at Providence Hospital and have resided in Waco, Texas with my family for over 30 years. My passion lies in serving people, whether it's through finding efficient solutions for their business needs at Extraco or through community service activities in my spare time.

Ben Doskocil

I'm Ben Doskocil, bringing over a decade of banking experience to Extraco. I hold a Bachelor's in Business Administration from Baylor University and a Masters in Finance and Banking from Kingston University in London, England. Outside of my professional commitments, I am an active member of Harris Creek Baptist Church and currently participating in Leadership Waco.

Rick Clark, JD

I'm Rick Clark and I bring over 20 years of private law practice experience to Extraco, specializing in estates, business, and real estate law. With a BBA in Real Estate from Baylor University and a JD from Texas A&M School of Law, I'm also involved in legal associations like the Real Estate, Probate, and Trust Law Section of the State Bar of Texas, and the Waco-McLennan County Bar Association. I'm admitted to practice law in federal courts in the Western District of Texas. Outside of work, I'm committed to community service, volunteering for Lake Air Little League, contributing to the HOT Workforce Development Board, and previously serving as president of the Hedonia Club of Waco. Waco isn't just where I work—it's home. Living here with my wife, Jill, and our children, Tripp and Jackie, we're active members of the First United Methodist Church, cherishing our community ties.
