- Transfers to another account, or to a third party via any means, are limited to 6 per statement cycle. A $15 fee will apply for debit transactions subject to and exceeding the transaction limitations.
- A regular sweep of funds from an Extraco checking account to the Money Market Investment acct.
- Senior benefits include free basic checks and up to five free cashier's checks per month.
Opening an account is easy with Extraco. You can open an account conveniently online, by contacting the Customer Care Center, or by visiting one of our financial centers. Please note that you must be at least 18 years of age, and a U.S. citizen or U.S. resident alien to open your account online. You'll also need four items to complete the account opening process:
- Social Security number
- A valid form of identification, such as a Driver's license, State ID, Military ID or Passport
- Previous home address, if you have lived at your current home address less than two years
- Credit card, debit card, U.S. checking or savings account number and bank routing number to fund your new account(s)
If using our online service, your application session will automatically time out if there is no activity for 15 minutes. This is for your protection. All information will be lost if this occurs.

Do I have to keep the money in my Money Market Investment for a minimum period of time?
No. There are no maturity restrictions on the Money Market Investment so you can earn high interest without tying up funds!

How can I access the funds in my Money Market Investment account?You can access your funds four different ways: through funds transfer on E-Bank, Phone24, at the ATM, or over-the-counter transactions in a financial center.
