Tax-exempt securities backed by the U.S. Government
Extraco offers U.S. Treasury Securities to give businesses secure, no-risk investment instruments backed by the full faith and credit of the U.S. Government.
These securities, also known as Treasury bills and notes, are considered the safest of all investments. Treasury bills carry maturities of no more than one year; Treasury notes are intermediate- to long-term investments with maturities of two, five and ten years.
Well-suited to safety-conscious, income-oriented investors, Treasury bills and notes are direct obligations of the U.S. Government. They are exempt from state and local taxes.
Most Treasury bills and notes can be purchased in increments of $1,000, with a minimum purchase of $5,000.
