What is Extraco's Financial Center Concept?
Three years ago, Extraco developed a concept to transform its traditional bank branches into sophisticated financial centers. The vision was to offer both traditional and non-traditional financial products in a one-stop-shop environment and to deliver a superior customer experience using a relationship-based approach.
How does Extraco bring the Financial Center Concept to life?
Extraco's South 31st Financial Center is a total embodiment of Extraco's Financial Center Concept. In addition to Personal and Business Banking zones, the South 31st center also features a Welcome Center manned by a concierge-style greeter, a Learning Zone with 16'information towers and experiential electronic displays, a Community Room, a gourmet coffee bar, and a children's play area. The Technology Center showcases Extraco's business technology servicing capabilities in the areas of network design, data security, and helpdesk management.
Customers benefit from the Financial Center Concept by having a single relationship manager who serves as coordinator and trusted advisor for all financial needs. They receive expert financial advice and guidance at every stage of their lives and enjoy access to Extraco product specialists in the areas of insurance, investment, trust, mortgage, and technology.
Extraco Corporation celebrated 100 years and three generations of family management on July 12th, 2002. Founded as a cotton warehousing company, Extraco is the largest and most comprehensive independent financial institution headquartered in Central Texas with $952 million in assets, a loan limit of $12 million, over 75,000 customers, and 470 employees. Extraco's fourteen financial centers are located in Georgetown, Killeen, Harker Heights, Copperas Cove, Waco, Temple, Belton, Troy, Lorena, Gatesville, Hamilton and McGregor, with a fifteenth location slated for early summer '06 completion in the north Waco area.
